With over 1 billion users, TikTok has become the leading social media platform for travel inspiration. For both consumer and business travel, TikTok has emerged as the designated social media platform for promoting premium travel. Recent research by German holiday rental agency Holidu revealed Europe’s most popular cities based on view numbers and hashtags on TikTok. In addition to four cities in France, Ireland, Portugal and the Netherlands also made the top ten list of TikTok-able destinations. The winner of the fifth place is Stuttgart, Germany, with 9.2 billion TikTok views, overtaking both Berlin and Munich. The French city of Lyon is in 4th place, with 9.3 billion views. Lyon’s historic buildings, beautiful squares and breathtaking bridges provide a wonderful backdrop for a stunning TikTok. In third place comes Manchester, England’s leading city, ahead of London, with 10 billion views. For a trip that showcases creativity, culture and fun, Manchester is the place to go. The second most TikTok-using city in Europe is Paris, with 65 billion views. Paris offers incredible sites and experiences for visitors. In first place stands Spain’s leading seaside city, Barcelona, with 106 billion views.
