Today, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Tourism Business Cycle Index (TCI), a press conference was held at the a&o Hostel Budapest City, organised by the Hungarian Hospitality Employers’ Association (VIMOSZ), the Hungarian Tourism Association Foundation (MTSZA) and the Hungarian Economic Research Institute (GKI). The event was opened by Zoltán Gál Pál, President of our association, followed by Attila Udvardi, Director of GKI, who reported on the experiences of the last two years with TCI. Afterwards, Dániel Molnár, Senior Analyst at Makronóm, gave a presentation on the macroeconomic situation of tourism, and finally, a&o’s sustainability efforts.
